Archive

HAFF, from its very first edition unconventional and groundbreaking, celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2010. The festival seized this opportunity to publish its rich archive online. A party of recognition for people who have been around for some time. People who are pretty new on the scene get an overview of 25 years of world-class animation.

The online archive has been made possible by the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds.

Posters & leaders
The HAFF posters were designed by famous artists like Mariscal, Art Spiegelman, Chris Ware, Charles Burns and Joost Swarte. The HAFF logo by the latter – a walking camera with Mickey Mouse ears, executed in clear lines – is the connecting element. More than 25 Years of festival history in 15 posters.
