A chameleon named Rango (Johnny Depp) accidentally ends up in the town of Dirt in the Mojave Desert after his terrarium falls from his owners’ car. The town is deficient in water and in desperate need of a new sheriff. Using bravado and improvisation he manages to get appointed. The unconventional, affectionate tribute to westerns won the Oscar for Animated Feature Film 2012.
