Gerrit van Dijk deceased
Animation filmmaker Gerrit van Dijk has passed away on 4 December at the age of 73. The many-sided artist changed the culture for animation film in the Netherlands with unflagging zeal. He was the great inspiration behind the foundation of the HAFF and the Netherlands Institute for Animation Film.
Organisation
The organization of the festival is in the hands of a compact staff that is filled up with freelancers, interns and a lot of volunteers in the build-up to the festival. Director of the festival is Gerben Schermer.
