Vinex Productions are Sjeng Schupp and Michiel van Dijk. They create music animations for which Schupp does the artwork and Dijk composes the soundtrack. Their short, wayward music animations (sometimes abstract, sometimes figurative) are characterized by fantasticality and absurdity. Image and sound play an equally important role.
Vinex Productions are well known for their widely acclaimed performance Kijkshock. For Kijkshock, their work is shown accompanied by a live music performance of a band of 5, including the artists themselves. Their work was released on two DVDs with accompanying publications.
Nothing is what it seems in the leader they have made for HAFF. We meet a Brunhilde-like character, accompanied by bombastic Wagner sound. Hiding inside of her is a little dog with unexpected qualities.
